About The CLE Team
The CLE team includes six members: four local Ecuadorians and two American gringos. Brian Ebner, currently living in Breckenridge Colorado, and Benjamin Norton, from Orlando Florida, are our United States partners. Daniel Velasquez and Manuel Chavez are from Bahia de Caraquez, Ecuador; Nelson Coral is from Portoviejo, Ecuador, and Gabriel Loor is from Chone, Ecuador.
Brian and Benjamin visited Ecuador for the first time a few years ago and immediately fell in love with the people, the landscape, and overall the laid-back lifestyle. Coming from Florida, they fit right in with the daily routine of surfing and enjoying fresh seafood, and they really appreciated the relaxed, casual demeanor of the local people, a refreshing alternative to fast-paced living in the States. They initially purchased property in Puerto Cayo, Ecuador, and — working with a local developer — completed construction on seven beachside condominiums within a year. They are currently developing the community La Reserva Manabi in Ayampe.
Manuel Chavez, the maestro of the group, comes with invaluable knowledge and experience in business ownership, land ownership, and home building in Ecuador. He has a deep passion for his country and all of its local customs.
Gabriel Loor and Nelson Coral are the designer and architect for the latest CLE project, La Reserva Manabi In Ayampe. Gabriel has a Project Planning degree from a local Ecuadorian college, and Nelson has an architectural degree.
Daniel Velasquez has been sharpening his expertise in real estate since 2005. In addition to owning a hostel and hotel in Canoa, Ecuador, he owns the Los Aposentos oceanview community on the iconic cliffs of Canoa.
